It is without a doubt that UK bingo players are the most generous of souls, I don’t know how many bingo news stories I come across that are positive, with people sharing their winnings with friends and relatives, and virtually every winner, vowing to help or spoil their families. Yes, there are a few instances where this does not apply and we have had bingo players reneging on sharing winnings and various other nefarious activities, but these are very few and far between.
One recent incident concerns a young lady who went to play bingo with her grandmother and accidentally left her handbag behind in the bingo club. By the time she realised that she had left her bag behind and returned to the bingo club her handbag was gone, together with a new Nontendo DS and iPod (why on earth she was carrying them both in her handbag, none of us will ever know). Aww you say! This is a bad bingo story, not a good one, not so!
The bingo club staff members on duty quickly organized a collection amongst the bingo players and all-together she got a new silver bag and a pink Nintendo DS. She was nonetheless surprised as she never expected such generosity.
