A forty eight year old male bingo player who was playing bingo with his wife at the Washington Gala Club in Tyne and Wear, remained “pretty calm” when he realized just how much money he had won in the National Bingo Game. Nevertheless he still went home more than ₤20 000 richer than when he started. Not bad going for a night out at the bingo is it, I mean just think about it, the night out at the bingo, lets’ speculate, costs about ₤30 and he came home with more than ₤20 000, that is one good return on investment.
The man who is from Houghton-le-Spring, qualified for the National Bingo prize that night which was ₤60 000, but had to be shared between two other players, one in Whitley Bay and another in Livingston. He also won the Regional prize of ₤330 and the house prize of ₤90. All three winners completed a full house in forty three numbers.
This winner works as a spray painter, and he obviously has no qualms about flaunting his masculinity at a bingo club. He also has two children, and said that he is going to be putting his winnings in the bank as they had just come back from a holiday and he already has a car. He sounds like a pretty sensible bloke if you ask me, he already has everything that he needs and will save the money for a rainy day.
