A thirty-six year old library assistant is the latest in a long row of Platinum bingo winners in the UK. She has just won a total of ₤270 486. The woman who wishes to remain anonymous said that this is the most amazing thing that has every happened to her and she had no sleep at all after the huge win. Her previous biggest bingo win was for ₤200.

She says that her mother got her started playing bingo as soon as she turned eighteen and they play together at the Gala Club two or three times a week, but this time she wasn’t with her and as she didn’t have her mobile switched on, she couldn’t tell her until 5pm, but she managed to reach her husband who is a team support driver, he wouldn’t believe her until the bingo club manager confirmed it.

The couple have a six year old daughter and a twelve year old son who are only to willing to help mum spend the money, but firs she is going to pay off their mortgage and plan a couple of holidays.  Her holiday shopping list has Egypt and Las Vegas coming in tops.
