The latest in the line up of National Bingo Platinum winners is a sixty four years old who does not want to be named, says that she couldn’t believe how much money she had won, she was in such shock that she had to go home and drink a few medicinal brandies and woke up with a sore head. The winner took home a massive ₤639 725 and this huge sum of money just doesn’t register.
She was playing at the Mecca Bingo club in North Street Exeter on Sunday. The lucky lady says that she joined the club in 1993 and every Sunday she drives a couple of friend to the bingo to play and on this particular Sunday she had already won a ₤60 house prize. When she got home she showed her husband the house prize of ₤60 and he was delighted, but then she showed him the claim form for the ₤639 725 and he though it was just ₤639 he didn’t register on the last three digits, he also needed a brandy once the truth hit home.
She is going to be buying him a garden shed with the money!
