Mecca Bingo is preparing to launch a new campaign focusing on charity. Big Heart Bingo will not be left alone in the giving community. Now the “Mecca Wheel Difference” will combine the efforts of Mecca bingo and a company called “Whizz-Kidz” to focus on providing wheelchairs and other mobility equipment to children who would not otherwise have access to them.

A Dublin woman, who was visiting her daughter in Worthing for the Christening of her Grandchild is the winner of more than ₤30 000. Eileen Higgins was staying with her daughter and they decided to go out and have a bit of a flutter on the bingo at the local Gala club in Rowlands Road.

Carl Leffler, original inventor of over 6000 bingo cards, is said to have gone insane as soon as he completed his work!

The famous mathematician was hired by a New York businessman who originally learned the game of Bingo when it was still called “bean-o.” The start of bingo as we know it was actually a game played with beans, that was used as a way to promote charities and generate financial support.

My father always told me that if no-one else blows your trumpet, you might as well bow your own. I didn’t really know what he mean but am beginning to see much of this analogy cropping up in the way that online bingo sites always seem to be trying to prove their worthiness as the best.
