Seventy-seven years of age Great-grandmother is one of the latest in a long line of winning bingo players who have won life changing amounts of money on the National Bingo Game. It just keeps getting better and better judging by all the recent news reports. The Hinckley pensioner is a member of the Flutters Bingo Club in Rugby Road and has been playing there for the last thirty-eight years.

She was the winner of ₤31 760 in the National Bingo Game, ₤3 279 in the Regional and a house prize of ₤47. The national prize for the night was actually ₤63 520, but she had to share the prize with another winner in Wales who also managed to call a full-house in forty-three numbers.

She said that she had no idea that she had won so much money, it was a big shock, but also a wonderful surprise and she got absolutely no sleep that night.

The woman is married and she and her husband have one son, a granddaughter and a great-grandaughter. Bingo is her favorite game and she plays as much as six times a week regularly. She is planning to use some of the money to treat her family and take a holiday somewhere in the sun.

A Dublin woman, who was visiting her daughter in Worthing for the Christening of her Grandchild is the winner of more than ₤30 000. Eileen Higgins was staying with her daughter and they decided to go out and have a bit of a flutter on the bingo at the local Gala club in Rowlands Road.
